思科现在提供一系列全新的400G数字相干QSFP-DD收发器。思科已经提供一系列数字相干CFP2收发器,能够支持高达200Gbps的波长。由于采用7纳米制造工艺和硅光子技术创新实现了技术小型化,现在可以将具有400G能力的数字相干WDM接口压缩到QSFP-DD外形规格中。
提供两种产品变体:
- ZR变体
- ZR Plus变体
QSFP-DD ZR概述
QSFP-DD ZR变体符合OIF MSA标准,允许与符合相同MSA标准的等效组件兼容。ZR标准的关键应用是允许在点到点拓扑中传输400G波长,距离可达120公里,如上图所示的Mux/Demux和放大器。

该产品变体中,可插拔组件可以与主机卡一起支持400GE和4x100GE接口。
QSFP-DD ZR Plus概述
QSFP-DD ZR Plus变体符合OpenZR+ MSA标准,能够应对从区域到长途的距离,并在端点之间提供多个放大站点。除了OpenZR+ MSA定义的内容外,此变体还提供多种配置选项,包括调制方案、TX滤波器整形和波特率。
由于高性能O-FEC算法,此变体还具有最长的传输距离。
它能够支持~60G波特率、QPSK和8-QAM和16-QAM调制方案,以应对每波长200G(QPSK)、300G(8-QAM)和400G(16-QAM)的传输容量。
它还支持100G信号,利用QPSK调制方案,波特率为~30G,以及200G信号,16-QAM(~30Gbaud)和8-QAM(~40 Gbaud)。
从信号整形模式的角度来看,支持两种不同的配置(有无Tx整形),以应对不同的滤波要求。
特点和优势
随着线路卡端口的普及,可以设计出针对400G优化的新线路卡,知道只需更换可插拔组件,该端口就能支持100G以下的速率,从而保证与上一代路由器的向后兼容性。此外,通过简单地使用400G ZR/ZR+光学器件,IPoDWDM选项首次提供了相同密度的灰色线路卡,最终解决了在集成和最大化路由器线路卡吞吐量之间选择的常见困境。
一些网络运营商在认识到100G的经验教训后,在400G上采取了不同的方法。2016年底,这些网络运营商和几家供应商确定400G是行业的交叉点,支持与新兴高容量客户端光学器件(如QSFP-DD)相同的外形因数的相干光学器件。在不到一年的时间里,OIF定义了400ZR接口的大部分技术细节,这有助于推动业界对可插拔、可互操作相干接口的更多投资。
关键要求是容纳超过120公里的超大规模DCI链路,同时保持相同的QSFP-DD/OSFP外形规格。对400G标准化工作的调查指出,OpenROADM的要素可以为400ZR标准提供基于标准的高性能补充。因此,业界开始考虑下一个合乎逻辑的步骤,即将这些经过审查的规范结合起来,实现解决超过120公里的400G以太网为中心的解决方案的目标。这将使超大规模DCI扩展到区域距离之外,并扩大模块供应商的可寻址市场,为整个分销链提供更大的规模经济。这种将400ZR标准与OpenROADM要素相结合的方式被称为OpenZR+。

QDD- 400G- SR8-S, QDD-400G-DR4-S, QDD-4X100G-FR-S, QDD-4X100G-LR-S require patch cords with Angled Physical Contact (APC) MPO connectors. QDD-400G-SR8-S requires MPO-16 APC for MMF. All cables and cable assemblies used must be compliant with the standards specified in the standards section of this datasheet.
